A child’s room is always an exciting space to design–there are countless directions the space can take, depending on the child’s personality, age and interests. For this particular bedroom, we intentionally steered away from a particularly strong design theme, allowing the child to grow into the space and inject her own personality into the space as she gets older. We kept the colors unbiased, provided tactile surfaces, doubled up on storage, and provided designated zones for reading, play, and sleep. This is a room that our little client can use for a few years by easily swapping around the accents and colors as her interests change.
